Robin's Egg Pink Tradeshow Booth
'Pretty Unexpected' at the ABC Kid's Expo
As part of their plan to to provide beautiful products and exceptional quality to children and parents alike, Robin's Egg Pink has been selected to showcase their innovative offering at the Modern Child Pavilion at the ABC Kid's Expo in Las Vegas in September 2009. This juried section of the ABC Expo represents the most innovative designs within numerous product categories.
The 10'x20' booth is a "linear" style design. It needed to be lightweight, collapsible for easy transport, and easy to assemble. The design and fabrication of the booth required consideration and flexibility in order to adapt to future booth styles at other shows.
Stylistically, we took direction from the fabrics used by Robin's Egg Pink in their product design, which are clean, contemporary, and bold in color and pattern. Architectural detailing in the booth is inspired by the Eames house of cards, allowing for the creation of hundreds of stackable shapes and patterns. This provides flexibility for Robin's Egg Pink to create different configurations based on the products they are showcasing, the size of booth, location, height restrictions, and other functional considerations. Herman miller furniture, such as the Eames rocker, provides clean and contemporary lines in harmony with the detailing and graphics. The booth graphics are ‘emotionally’ attractive rather product driven - this drives consumer connection to the products on an emotional level, creating relevance and consumer interest. The cherry blossoms in the graphics are a tribute to Angela, the owner of Robin's Egg Pink, and are symbolic of the passion she has for her products.

The ABC Kid's Expo take place September 13-16, 2009 in the South Exhibit Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
