With a rich legacy in Canadian beauty and self-care, Visage approached Jump to reimagine its brand and retail environment for a new generation of beauty seekers. The goal was to transform the store into a modern, feminine, and functional space that would seamlessly blend beauty services with retail, all while positioning piercing as a central offering. Just as importantly, the redesign needed to preserve the trusted, approachable identity that Visage had built over decades.
Personal Services, Retail, Signage, Identity
Jump led the transformation from the ground up, beginning with brand strategy and concept development and continuing through to interior design, construction drawings, and visual merchandising. Drawing from both Visage’s heritage and emerging retail trends, we positioned the experience as an “affordable indulgence,” marrying everyday self-care with an elevated sense of style. The concept was influenced by the timeless charm of icons like Jennifer Aniston and expressed through a design philosophy we called “Sérénité,” a calming, youthful, and effortlessly elegant aesthetic that would appeal across generations.



The design language was rooted in softness and femininity, expressed through a palette of blush pinks, warm whites, and natural wood tones, grounded by accents of black and brushed brass. The space was conceived as a hybrid of retail and ritual, an environment where products invite discovery and services feel both accessible and special. At the heart of the store is a dedicated semi-private piercing zone, intentionally elevated through elegant finishes and thoughtful lighting to shift the experience from clinical to celebratory. Neon quotes, arched thresholds, fluted millwork, and backlit mirrors create moments of charm and delight throughout the space, inviting both in-person enjoyment and shareable, Instagrammable moments.

The layout was carefully planned to guide guests from a bright, product-forward entrance into a welcoming reception, and then through the signature millwork-wrapped archway into treatment and piercing areas. A softly lit central product island encourages exploration, while the “Glam Suite” and “Glam Nook” offer full and semi-private treatment zones with a warm, residential character. A celebration wall near the piercing zone provides the perfect setting for post-treatment selfies and milestone moments, accented by blush lighting and frosted vinyl graphics.


Material selections were made with intention, balancing durability and code compliance with brand alignment. Terrazzo-look flooring, lacquered pink millwork, and quartz counters offer a polished yet approachable backdrop. Lighting was thoughtfully layered throughout the space to allow for zoned, dimmable illumination that supports both operational needs and ambient mood.

The result is a new prototype that elevates what a beauty services environment can feel like. By fusing retail, ritual, and radiant design, Jump helped usher Visage into a new era. The design honours the brand’s legacy while confidently stepping into a blush-toned future.
